About MOSAAIC at Chicago
The University of Chicago and Penn State University will jointly lead the Chicago MOSAAIC site with recruitment and engagement assistance from the Community-Based Partners in Chicago. The Chicago MOSAAIC site will leverage the resources of the Institute for Population and Precision Health (IPPH) at the University of Chicago. Our sampling, outreach, engagement, and recruitment plan will be informed, co-designed and co-led by the Asian Health Coalition (AHC)/ Penn State University.

The demographic makeup of Asian communities in Chicago is diverse and ideally located for engagement and cohort enrollment. The UChicago MOSAAIC site will conduct targeted engagement for Korean, Indian, Filipino, and underrepresented Southeast Asians who reside in the greater Chicago region. We will be actively outreaching via community-based engagement and education, advertisements, and social media. Individuals may self-select for enrollment to either community or the University of Chicago Hospital based settings.
